From the 29 entries received without authors’ names, the following were initially disqualified due to anticipation : № 5 (N. Stolev, 1st Pr. Sredba na solidarnosta 2000), № 6 (E. Bourd, 1st Pr. IRT 2005), № 17 (S. Trommler, Scacchi e Szience Applicate 1998), № 21 (Z. Gavrilovski, 3rd Pl. League of Macedonian problemists 1998), № 22 (A. Boitmanis, 2nd Pr. Jurmala-78 1978) and № 24 (W. Bruch, 3rd Pr. Europa-Rochade 2000). I thank Mr Zoran Gavrilovski for finding the above anticipations. I also thank Mr Udo Degener who checked the preliminary entries selected for the award and found an anticipation to № 8 (H. Ahues, Main Post 1967).
Of the remaining problems I honoured the following, whose quality was of a quite satisfactory international standard.
