Championnat du monde Junior

Le championnat du monde junior 2005 se déroulera du 8 au 23 novembre à Istanbul en Turquie. La sélection nationale sera absente de ce grand rendez vous mondiale, seul Mehdi Ouakhir est enregistré dans la liste des participants, mehdi représentera le Maroc sur ses frais personnels (billet d’avion).

Les champions du Maroc de Settat 2005 ne feront pas le déplacement, j’ai essayé de contacter Kamal Daoudi et Sana Elamri.

Kamal qui n’ira pas à Istanbul, va participer au championnat arabe et Africain, souhaitant que la frme tienne ses promesses, Sana m’a assuré qu’elle n’a pas été contactée et ne sait pas si elle va participer au championnat du monde ou aux autres championnats arabe et africain

Reste une joueuse Jamila Yougane : la grande victime des jeunes ,je suis solidaire avec cette jeune fille qui a payé cher son refus de faire partie de l’équipe du président ,Jamila n’a fait aucun déplacement dans un championnat à l’étranger , on ne t’a pas oublié !.

INVITATION & RULES OF THE 2005 WORLD JUNIOR CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP FOR BOYS & GIRLS U20

 1. The Venue and the Dates for the Start and Finish of the Championships. Venue : The championships will be held in Istanbul from November 8 (arrival day) to November 23 (departure day). The venue is Golden Age Hotel in Istanbul. Hotel is 4 stars very well known hotel. Golden Sponsor of the event is Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

 2. Participants.
 In accordance with FIDE regulations, entitled to participate are those born on or after 1st January 1985.

The players placed 1-3 in the previous Championships and the champions of Continental Junior Championships, and the top 6 (4) players from the International rating list for men (women) have the personal right to participate in the tournament, if they fulfil the condition described above, as well as the present World Boys (Girls) - 18 and 16 champions. In addition to the players mentioned above, each affiliated federation has the right to send one representative in the juniors and one representative in the girls-20 championships. The organizing federation will have a second place in the tournament, and will hold a player in reserve to make an even number of participants, if necessary.

 If a federation wishes to have additional players participating, besides those qualified by normal way and by personal right, they have to fulfil following conditions :
 a.payment to FIDE of the approved fee of SFr. 200 per player in advance ;
 b.payment of the full board and lodge of the additional player(s) to the organisers in advance ;

 An identity photo 2x3 cm should be sent for the badge of the players, coaches and accompanying persons. Otherwise the photo can be taken on arrival (€ 3). According to FIDE regulations a SFr. 100 entry fee is required for each player, except defending champion (SFr. 200 for any additional player). This amount must be sent to FIDE in advance.

 3. Registration Forms.

 4. Board and Lodging.
 The participants and accompanying persons (coaches, journalists, etc.) will be accommodated in Golden Age Hotel (****), Lion Hotel (****) in Taksim Square on the centre of Istanbul. Both hotels are next to each other. Distance is 5 m, owned by the same group. http://www.goldenagehotel.com/ The main participants (those who qualified by normal way and by personal right) will be provided with free board and lodging.

 The additional participants and the accompanying persons should incur 59 Euro daily for sharing a double room plus three meals a day or 80 Euro daily for a single room plus three meals a day and they are obliged to lodge at the official Hotel.

 All payments must be made in advance by transferring the amount to official bank account. In order to avoid any problems with transports and hotel, all players (including invited players), delegates and accompanying persons must deposit to the bank account of the Executive Committee the amount of 100 Euro in advance. For the invited players the 100 Euro are equal to the transportation and registration cost. Only by this way reservations are confirmed.

 After the payment in bank the Federations must fax the bank receipt and the Executive Committee will confirm the hotel reservation for these people.

 5. Tournament Regulations. The tournament will be held in accordance with FIDE regulations (D.VI.01)

 The events will be played according to the Swiss System, 13 rounds, with a free day after 6th round.

 The time limit will be according to FIDE rules (40 moves in 90 minutes followed by 15 minutes until the end of the game and an incremental time of 30 seconds per move from move 1). The games will be played using the electronic clocks.

 On the free day various events will be organized for all participants and accompanying persons.

 7. Transportation. National federations will cover the travelling expenses of the participants and accompanying persons. Bus transportation is provided from the Atatürk Airport to residence and back.

 8. Visas. In case of necessity of obtaining the Turkish entry visa, please apply to the Turkish embassies or consulates in your country. The Organizing Committee will send the invitations to the Turkish Embassies by the official way.
